Delta Electronics Wins "Most Admired Company" Award for 7th Consecutive Year

On October 16th CommonWealth Magazine revealed the results of its "2008 Most Admired Company" survey and Delta Electronics won first place in the electronics industry for the 7th consecutive year. CommonWealth Magazine has held its annual Most Admired Company survey for the past 14 years. The survey assesses competitiveness among businesses in Taiwan based on the criteria of progress, innovation, operating performance, talent development and long term investment.

The "2008 Most Admired Company" survey examines 24 industries that influence Taiwan's future development using the same criteria as Commonwealth's list of the top 1,000 Taiwanese enterprises. With judging based on international media standards, industry peers and experts chose and assessed 263 companies and then scored and ranked them according to ten key indicators. CommonWealth selected industry peers from a database of the top 1,000 Taiwanese enterprises and expert analysts from the fields of banking, securities, investment consulting, investment trusts, and accounting.
